Job Summary:

Your role as a warehouse assistant involves managing all incoming and outgoing materials. You must unpack and sort inventory, prepare orders, pack outbound shipments, and operate forklifts while keeping accurate records of all materials movements. Adherence to safety regulations, maintaining quality control, and maintaining an efficient warehouse are essential to the role. Your contributions are integral to ensuring the optimization of warehouse operations and supporting the company's overall success.

Responsibilities:

• Knowing the load-carrying capacity and limitations of the forklift is vital for proper loading and unloading operations to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage
• The opener, hopper, and lid system in railcars must undergo routine maintenance checks to avoid issues during use
• Becoming proficient in using the necessary tools and equipment to perform elevator system repairs and replacements
• A clean and hygienic environment often involves the utilization of different cleaning tools and equipment, such as brooms, brushes, and vacuums to sweep, scrub, and suck up dirt and dust
• The cleanliness and maintenance of the unloading area, railcar area, and equipment should be a constant focus for all workers to ensure optimal efficiency and safety in the workplace
