Beauty Team Leader

Job Summary:

As a Beauty Team Leader at Target, you will lead a passionate team within the Core and Ulta Beauty departments, inspiring beauty enthusiasts while delivering exceptional guest service and driving top-line sales. This role focuses on engaging guests with beauty expertise, coordinating daily workload, executing merchandising standards, and developing a knowledgeable and guest-centric team.

Roles and Duties:

• Lead daily and weekly workload plans to meet sales goals and guest engagement metrics.
• Ensure compliance with elevated Ulta Beauty service standards and expectations.
• Guide and coach your team in delivering consultations, personalized shopping, and loyalty program promotion.
• Supervise and execute merchandising, pricing, promotions, events, and product displays.
• Engage guests with welcoming interactions and help solve their specific beauty needs.
• Assign and monitor daily tasks based on guest traffic and business priorities.
• Foster team development through training, coaching, onboarding, and closing skill gaps.
• Partner with leadership to recruit, evaluate, and retain top talent.
• Promote a culture of safety, ethical conduct, and compliance throughout the department.
• Support merchandise protection strategies and store security protocols.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to remain mobile and active throughout scheduled shifts.
• Lift or move merchandise up to 15 lbs frequently and up to 44 lbs occasionally.
• Climb ladders and work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions.
• Operate scanners, communication devices, and other store technology.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Retail or beauty experience preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership and accountability skills.
• Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.
• Welcoming, guest-focused attitude with flexibility in scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays).
