Job Summary

The position aids in transitioning towards a patient-focused environment instead of a primarily transactional one. Responsibilities

• Assist thiss in following federal and state regulations when delivering pharmacy services.
• Engage with customers and patients to offer guidance on products and services, resolving inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
• Administer pharmacy software systems for the purpose of processing prescriptions and maintaining patient and drug records.
• Support efficient inventory management by overseeing the receiving, checking, and storing of pharmaceutical shipments.
• Manage clerical duties by handling phone inquiries, submitting claims, and assisting with scheduling tasks.
• See to it that the pharmacy area remains clean and well-arranged.
• Aid in coordinating pharmacy clinical services and expanding outreach endeavors to reach more patients.
• It is essential to observe Walgreens' regulations, especially those pertaining to Good Faith Dispensing and the Code of Conduct.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proficient in English language literacy, verbal communication, and written expression, with the exception of Puerto Rico.
• Openness to working flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Half a year of work involvement in the retail industry.
• History of prior work involvement with Walgreens.
• Desired qualifications include a solid foundation in math and computer proficiency.
• Preferred: Acquaintance with inventory manipulation and possession of PTCB certification.
