Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:

As a warehouse assistant, you play a significant role in managing the facility's inventory. Your duties include receiving incoming materials, organizing inventory, picking orders, preparing outbound shipments, and operating forklifts. While doing so, you need to maintain quality control standards, follow safety protocols, and keep accurate records of all material movements. Your active participation helps ensure an orderly and efficient warehouse while supporting the company's overall productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Before driving a forklift, the operator should perform a thorough pre-inspection of the vehicle to detect any possible defects or malfunctions and report them as soon as possible
• To safely operate a railcar, one must first understand its basic structure and functions, including the opener, hopper, and lids
• Acquiring and fine-tuning the necessary skills and knowledge required to efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose elevator malfunctions
• Keeping a space clean requires using various cleaning methods, such as scrubbing, shoveling, and vacuuming to remove debris from all surfaces and spaces
• Keeping the unloading area, railcar area, and equipment clean and free of clutter can help prevent accidents, injuries, and even fires
